About the Course Instructors: BNSS INSTRUCTOR: Justice K. Abraham Mathew Justice Mathew, Former Judge of the High Court of Kerala, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Live Law Academy. A distinguished alumnus of Law College, Thane (University of Bombay), Justice Mathew embarked on his judicial career in 1988 as a Munsiff-Magistrate. Over three decades, he held key positions, including Director of the Kerala Judicial Academy, Registrar (Vigilance) of the High Court of Kerala, and District & Sessions Judge. In 2014, he was sworn in as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Kerala and later became a Permanent Judge in 2016, serving with distinction until his retirement in January 2019. As an Honorary Professor at Live Law Academy, Justice Mathew has graciously consented to teach the Code of Criminal Procedure (Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita) and the Law of Evidence (Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam), providing students with unparalleled insights into these critical areas of law.
