The committee appointe headed by former Supreme Court judge Justice A K Patnaik to probe the alleged conspiracy behind the sexual harassment allegations agasint the Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has said to have unearthed incriminating materials, calling for further probe into the matter, reports The Telegraph.

Quoting sources, The Telegraph reported that the committee has asked the CBI, Delhi Police and Intelligence Bureau to investigate into the alleged plot and "provide requisite materials to get to the bottom of the purported larger conspiracy".

Justice Patnaik is expected to submit the report in the first or second week of July.

The panel was constituted by a bench headed of Justices Arun Mishra, R F Nariman and Deepak Gupta on April 25 based on the affidavits filed by Advocate Utasv Bains which stated that a nexus of corporate lobby, court fixers and disgruntled employees were behind the sexual harassment allegations levelled against the CJI.

Later, Justice Patnaik said that he will await the result of the in-house enquiry into the allegations against CJI made by the former court employee, before starting the probe into the conspiracy allegations.

The in-house panel headed by Justice Bobde to probe the sexual harassment complaint had given the CJI a clean chit in the matter on May 6.
