The Mazgaon Metropolitan Court in Mumbai on Thursday convicted Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut and sentenced him to 15 days jail term for defaming BJP leader and former MLA Kirit Somaiya and his wife Medha Somaiya.The Court has also ordered Raut to pay a compensation of Rs 25,000 to the complainant - Medha Somaiya, the wife of the BJP leader.
