    The Supreme Court has prohibited an Advocate's Clerk from entering its precincts for a period of three months, after he was found guilty of Sexual Harassment in an internal enquiry.

    In a notice to this effect, issued by the Gender Sensitization Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC) of the Supreme Court, it is stated that the clerk, Ashok Saini, is debarred from entering the Court precincts from July 1 to September 30, 2021.

    The notice reads as under:

    "It is for the information of all concerned that pursuant to a complaint, against Mr. Ashok Saini, the clerk of an advocate, of sexual harassment within the precincts of the Supreme Court of India, before its Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC) and consequential inquiry, under Regulation 11(1)(b) and (c) and 11(2)(a) of the Gender Sensitisation and sexual Harassment of Women at the Supreme Court of India (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal), Regulations, 2013, Mr. Ashok Saini has been found guilty and debarred from entering the precincts of the Supreme Court of India for a period of three months from 15 July, 2021 till 30" September, 2021."
