    The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of four High Court judges as Chief Justices of various High Courts.

    As per the Collegium's statement issued today, Justice P Sam Koshy, currently serving at the Telangana High Court, has been recommended for appointment as Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court.

    The Collegium has also recommended Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak of the Gujarat High Court for appointment as Chief Justice of the same High Court.

    Further, Justice Tapabrata Chakraborty, currently serving at the Calcutta High Court, has been recommended for appointment as Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.

    Justice Sudhir Singh of the Patna High Court has been recommended for appointment as Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court.

    The recommendations were announced through a statement issued by the Supreme Court Collegium following its meeting on October 26.
