In Delhi, the High Court set aside the CIC order asking CBSE to allow inspection of Smriti Irani's school records. The Bombay High Court granted three days' interim bail to Elgar Parishad accused Ramesh Gaichor to visit his ailing father. The Punjab & Haryana High Court held that sexual relations by a married woman outside wedlock, even if immoral, cannot amount to rape on a false promise of marriage. The Allahabad High Court reminded that advocates owe responsibility both to clients and to the court, criticizing counsel who argue even after orders are dictated.
