BITS Law School is a new age Law School, founded under the aegis of BITS Pilani. For more than five decades, BITS Pilani has been one of the most respected higher education institutions in India, producng a galaxy of prominent industrialists, entrepreneurs, technologists, thought leaders, academicians, officers, and corporate executives. It was one of the first private universities to be awarded the status of an Institution of Eminence by the Government of India. With this legacy, BITS Law School (BITSLAW) was established to provide high-quality legal education to aspiring legal professionals. BITSLAW offers legal knowledge, practical training, and holistic education to build leaders who will be passionate to create a more fair, just, and inclusive society. 

Programmes offered: 

BITS Law School offers two five-year integrated undergraduate programmes in law, namely, B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons).  

While both programmes have a core syllabus in Law, the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) has an emphasis on the liberal arts with courses on economics, sociology, history, political science, and philosophy, while B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) trains students in finance, accountancy, organisational behavior, management science, economics, and other business-related subjects. Both programmes offer four specialisations tailored to meet the evolving demands of the industry 

• Corporate & Financial Law 
• Technology & Media Law 
• Entertainment & Sports Law 
• Alternate Dispute Resolution & Mediation 

Students are immersed in an experiential learning environment that allows them to apply their knowledge to real-life scenarios through mooting, group projects, and internships. The faculty comprises young and dynamic professors who are highly qualified and accomplished in their respective fields, ensuring that students receive a top-notch education. 

The Admission Process 

The admissions process is carefully designed to holistically evaluate each applicant, allowing them to demonstrate their strengths and abilities. Eligibility and evaluation parameters are as follows: 

1. Applicant must have a minimum of 45% marks in Grade 12 or equivalent from a recognised board and a valid entrance exam score to participate in the admission process.  (Note: High scores in grade 12 or entrance exams alone do not guarantee selection.)
2. Law entrance examination scores accepted- (BITS Law Admission Test/CLAT/LSAT- India/AILET/MHCET Law).
3. Co-curricular achievements. 
4. Written and oral communication skills. 
5. BITSLAW follows a holistic evaluation based on a complete application form, marks in Grade 12, co/extra-curricular activities, personal interviews, and the entrance exam score. 

Applicants yet to receive their final grade 12 and/or law entrance exam scores are eligible to apply and can indicate in their application form that they are awaiting their results. Grade 12 scores can be added once the results are out by contacting the admissions team. Alternatively, a window is provided to add these scores.
