Ram Temple Consecration | Citing Traffic Diversion In Prayagraj, Allahabad HC Bar Association To Abstain From Judicial Work On Jan 23

This decision has been taken by the Executive body of the Association given the traffic diversion currently operating in Prayagraj due to the Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony in Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh), which took place today.

In continuation of the above, again today on 22.01.2024 (Monday) at 02.00 pm, an emergency meeting of the Executive of High Court Bar Association, Allahabad was held in the Old Study Room, which was presided over by High Court Bar Association President Shri Ashok Kumar Singh and Operating General Secretary Shri Done by Nitin Sharma.

“…on the occasion of the consecration of the new idol of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram Ji, many people are facing traffic chaos due to route diversion in Prayagraj district. Respected advocates will be unable to reach the court on time tomorrow i.e. 23.01.2024. Therefore, due to the above, tomorrow. Therefore, it was decided to abstain from judicial work on 2024 (Tuesday),” the press note released by the Bar Association states.

The press release further states that “there was a lot of enthusiasm among the lawyers regarding the consecration of the life of Lord Shri Ram” and in the same sequence, Sundar Kand, Bhajan program and Bhandara were also organized in Nyayavid Hanuman Temple.
