    On 11th September 2021, 2ndNational Lok Adalat of 2021 organised by Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority was inaugurated by Justice Mohammad Rafiq, the Chief Justice & Patron-in-Chief, Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority. The inaugural function was also attended by Justice Prakash Shrivastava, Executive Chairman, MPSLSA-Jabalpur, Justice Atul Sreedharan, Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee- Jabalpur and other Companion Judges of High Court at Principal Seat Jabalpur and Benches at Indore & Gwalior.

    This Lok Adalat was organized across the State including Principal Seat Jabalpur & Benches at Gwalior & Indore of the Madhya Pradesh High Court and all the District Courts, Taluka Courts, Labor Courts, Family Courts and other courts/tribunals in the State.

    Justice Prakash Shrivastava, Executive Chairman MPSLSA- Jabalpur worked round the clock and had continuous interactive sessions with Chief Secretary & Principal Secretaries of all the Govt. Departments, Principal District Judges and all the stakeholders to motivate them and to pursue the government agencies to extend financial benefits/rebates to the common people especially in Electricity matters, Property & Water Tax matters related to Municipal Corporation. It was also meant to encourage them to declare rebates in Cheque Bounce/Recovery Cases so that the poor litigants can be benefitted and they could have instant relief in such a pandemic period.

    Under the guidance of Justice Prakash Shrivastava, MPSLSA also conducted several meetings with all Insurance Companies, Bankers, Secretaries, Family Court Judges and all the Presiding Officers of the Labour Courts. With the regular supervision of Justice Shrivastava, as per information received till 07:00 P.M on Saturday, 94297 Cases have been settled mutually involving an amount of 3,59,44,56,371 in the 2nd National Lok Adalat 2021;. MPSLSA, in its press notethanked the members of the Bar, Print & Electronic Media and PLVs who played a major role for wide publicity and for reaching to the common people the message of holding this Lok Adalat on and to obtain early, easy & accessible justice by mutual understanding.

    All the Courts/Tribunals across the State participated in the 2nd National Lok Adalat with the motivation & inspiration of Chief Justice Mohammad Rafiq and Justice Prakash Shrivastava. 1445 Benches were constituted at the district level. Apart from that, 15 Benches of Hon'ble High Court Judges at Principal Seat- Jabalpur & both the Benches at Indore & Gwalior were also functioning in Saturday's Lok Adalat and as many as 1218 cases have been settled.

    This occasion was also marked with the release of Monthly Newsletter Magazine &Tree Plantation Booklet by Justice Mohammad Rafiq.

    On this occasion, Member Secretary MPSLSA , Mr. Dharminder Singh Rathod, Registry Officers of High Court, Additional Secretary MPSLSA Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Secretary HCLSC- Jabalpur Mr. Mohit Diwan, Deputy Secretaries of MPSLSA Mr. Arvind Shrivastava and Ms. Swapnshree Singh were also present.
