The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposal for making permanent Four Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court and One Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court.
The following Additional Judges have been recommended to be made permanent at the Karnataka High Court:
- Justice Singapuram Raghavachar Krishna Kumar
- Justice Ashok Subhashchandra Kinagi,
- Justice Suraj Govindaraj, and
- Justice Sachin Shankar Magadum
All the above-mentioned Judges were appointed as Additional Judges of Karnataka High Court on 19 Sep 2019
Further, Justice P. V. Ganediwala has been recommended to be made permanent at the Bombay High Court.
The Centre had notified the appointment of Justice P.V. Ganediwala as an Additional Judge of Bombay High Court in February 2019.
